Drop-in center:
is a faciltiy where street kid come to during the day. here they can use bathrooms, gat food and will be able to entre programes for better there life skills and chances in life, for example it courses, funiture and art workshops.

but the most important thing is that the kids have a place to go to where there is hope and a helping hand!!

..expo design..

My target market are teenagers between 10-18.To reach the target market the expo stand will be situated on school yards. it is important that it is functional, improving the community and stimulating the target market. Therefore it is a seating area/ sport/fun area with strong visual graphics.

.....3D rendering

The first hand in for computers!

It is quite strange that it is much more difficult to draw a rendering form a picture than it is for the own design.

....the name

One of my main goals for the youth center is to give teenagers a good foundation for life. The name will be Rootz.
Rootz refers to that good foundation, giving oppertunity to devellop and grow.

Laughing is healing...

...since 15 years there are clowns involved in the healing process in hospitals in Germany.
Like docter appointement, there are clown appointments in hospitals.
it is realy interesting how important laughing is for the health and should motivate us as designers to incorporate humour into our designs.

B-tech concept

Children are the future of every contry. CHildren will be the future leaders of societies, companies and families. Yet the mental health of children have sharply declined over the last 25 years and the chances that 15-year olds will have behavioural problems such as lying, steeling, disobedient and not take responsibility, have more than doubled.

It really matters for society's future to provide guidence, understanding and help for children to master every day's life.

This is way I am planning a Youth Centre for teenagers between the age of 10-18.

The key objective is to empover each teen, so it can reach its full potential. Be able to face every day challanges with confidence. this is gone by creating a respectfull enviroment for the youth and having the youth participat in a wide range of programmes.

Teens will be encouraged to learn new skills, while the programms will focus on the devellopment of social skills like teamwork and trust building through guided activities. Psychologists will be employed to help with problems like bullying in school, abuse at home and teenage prengancy.

The Youth Centre will provide evening where social interaction can take place in form of a club. It will be very strikly contolled, creating a safe and alcohole free enviroment.
